Reputation Radar is a partner-funded publication about advertising tools that collects public mentions of ad-spy tools and turns them into readable reports. We show what practitioners say about a tool, not what its landing page says about itself.

Money and the ranking

How we make money

Links to spytrend.com in our material are affiliate links: a click may earn us a commission, and that is our main source of income. Reputation Radar is affiliate media about advertising tools, not an impartial arbiter: we hold a commercial interest in the services we cover. What we describe is the process: sentiment is counted from the sample of public mentions in open chats, on forums and review sites, by rules published in advance. The collection method is published in full, so it can be checked and argued with. We stop short of a numeric score, because we have no arithmetic behind one that would survive the same scrutiny.

Shelf life of a report

Every report carries a build date and a date when product facts were verified. We rebuild a slice once a meaningful volume of new mentions accumulates.
